Mountain Re-Source Center is a gathering point for dozens of benevolent organizations that have a common goal of helping people who are experiencing a temporary need in a difficult time.
With a network of 30 organizations with 60 warehouses from coast to coast, MRC is able to accept a few pallets or hundreds of truckloads of donated products. There is always an urgent need for usable products.
MRC has trucks available in most metropolitan areas for pick up and delivery on very short notice, or you can deduct your freight cost if you choose to deliver.
So how does it all work? You have extra products in inventory that you can't use (e.g. overproduction, discontinued items, production mistakes, returns, minor damage, etc.). You deliver products or we pick it up for delivery to our closest qualified 501(c)(3) non-profit partner organization.
We do the paperwork to facilitate the transfer and for use by your finance department. We receive the product and distribute it to a qualified 501(c)(3) who in turn distributes the product to the ill, the needy or children.
Donors can rest assured that Mountain Re-Source Center will not distribute their donated product in an area that will compete with their normal sales and marketing efforts. Some donors request their products be sent overseas.
